I'm Jess, founder of all this insanity!
I was born and raised right here in Ocean County. I spent most of my days growing up as a barn rat where my first horse was boarded. I have always had a love for all animals, but my love for horses is deeply rooted, which is how this all got started. 😊
I am a phlebotomist by trade, I work in doc

I am a phlebotomist by trade, I work in doctors' offices throughout Ocean and Monmouth Counties. I also work very closely with my equine/livestock veterinarian assisting with procedures, doing ICU care, and pretty much anything else she needs. I am knowledgeable of most livestock, but extremely proficient in small ruminants (i.e. goats, sheep). I am able to draw blood, give fluids, provide supportive care, trim hooves, give shots, run fecals, and come up with herd health plans. I also assist in routine deliveries, including deliveries involving stuck babies and other complications.
This farm has been a lifelong dream of mine. It is my goal in life to help as many animals as possible while educating everyone I can along the way. We were extremely fortunate to purchase this 17 acre property in Sept 2020 and it’s been a work in progress ever since.
There are many amazing things to come, and I really do appreciate all of your love and support! This is a huge undertaking and it really does take a village!
We are a small 17-acre hobby farm located in New Egypt, NJ. We purchased our new property at the end of 2020. It is a huge process clearing land, putting up fields and making this the perfect home for our family and animals. As we continue, we plan to build a barn and keep expanding.
Our farm provides fresh, free range, colorful eggs.

Our farm provides fresh, free range, colorful eggs. We responsibly breed Registered Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian and Mini Nubian goats for show and pet homes which gives us various products from our rich goat's milk, including cheeses, soaps and lotions.
Our updated mission as of 2024
We will be focusing on helping educate livestock and homesteading communities by hosting classes like "Goat 101" as well as a bunch of different "How To" hands on sessions to make transitioning into owning these animals easier and to give new owners the tools the need to successfully own and care for them.

By doing so, we hope to ultimately reduce the number of people who surrender their livestock because they didn't know what they were getting into in the first place.

Throughout my years breeding, I realized that as much as we need responsible breeders, that is just not enough.
I have made my goal to make sure that ALL animals have a safe place to land, while educating owners and followers along the way.
We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and continued love and care of livestock and other animals in need.
Our farm is a registered 501c3 non profit organization. We strive to make life better for all animals in need including finding them homes when possible or giving them a soft place to land when it's not possible.
Hours are by appointment. Please reach out to us to set up an appointment.
